are there any free programs that work with MBM5's shutdown feature?? I had ShutdownNOW installed, but today when I tested the shutdown it said that I needed to register. I am glad that I was only testing the shutdown - if my fan had stopped or something the d*mn register box would have prevented it from shutting down!
thanks for your help

I believe that you can enable a program to execute if the temp exceeds a certain level, if so, you can use the following command which would shutdown windows.... Don't know if it would work if you were playing a game, but here is the command : C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe, exitwindows

Hey, you happen to have the file and switch to shutdown Win2k?
