O.T. ...... but I need help with DX8, beta expired?????

I just recieved my 128M PC133, installed it and rebooted, right. Got ready to do some gaming, right. The this windows error pops up saying my directx drivers have expired. I have the DX8 beta, I can't upgrade, because to my knowledge, DX8 hasn't been formally released, and it won't let me go back to DX7. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/frown.gif I AM PISSED, I WANT TO GAME!!!!! http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/frown.gif

Has anyone had this problem????? If so, how was it resolved. I'd be happy to go back to DX7. How do i remove DX8??? Is there anything short of reinstalling windows which can help?
