Its a circular neoprene model from IKEA, which runs pretty hot durin gaming.
So here's what I did: I bought 4 packages of artic silver, which I applied to the back of the mouse pad. I made a circular hole in my desk, to fit the pad. In the hole I put a circular 1/4 inch copper plate, for heat transfer. Underneath the copper plate are 4 drift peltiers, connected to a water cooling system.
My mouse speed had increaded 4-fold.
I rule !
