New case, new mods...
Well, i bought the AOpen HX08... Been working on it for a couple of hours and finally i got it together. It's still a prototype, but who said Rome was built in a day? I love it... big, quiet (watercooling, GPU fan, case fan, radiator fan @ 7V)
that's pretty impressive you got there!
got one word for you:Nice http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/biggrin.gif
The cable and tubing work is something i have to improve... but anyway, i'm satisfied so far... well, i'm satisfied if the damn thing boot's, but now the watersystem is built in... http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/biggrin.gif
Doh, I answered in your thread about the HX08 before I looked over here. Guess I'm too late http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/biggrin.gif But if you like it, hey - don't let me stop you from enjoying it.
Nice setup you've got there, I see you've placed the rad over the second HDD mount, how are you mounting the fans for the rad? I've got an idea (again inspired by TNproud2b) that might work out pretty well.
D|sElMiNk... you wasn't late... i bought it the same day we discussed it... http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/biggrin.gif
That idea is not bad at all... Hmm... maybe i'll go for that one instead... Thanx!!
I still claim my comp setup to be a prototype, so i made it easy for me and did something like this instead:
Of course i'll do it right... but i wanted to get the comp working... that's goal #1.
Goal #2 is internal case watercooling
Goal #3 is to make things more practical and more nice looking... http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/biggrin.gif
Next week i'll prolly hit goal #3...
