i tried changing the RAM timings in my bios to get that extra speed out of my crappy system, and my bios just crashed without a hint of goodbye. it does it regularly. i throw a coin to see if it will last long enough to actually change and save the settings. the board is a bx-6r2 with the most recent bios flashed in. what the hell is going on here?
How's the battery for the bios. If the board doesn't get much use or it is more than a few years old you might need a new battery. (this would be the case if you reboot and everything is set to default or it boots up the the bios screen on startup)
