I'm having a hell of a time finding a hard drive for my system... I'm looking for a 7200 RMP ATA66 hard drive. I found a Maxtor drive at Staples, and I was wondering how well it will perform at odd PCI clocks, like between 30 and 40 MHz? Thanks guys.
Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away...

you might wanna consider going with a nice ibm drive. they're supposed to be the **** when it comes to o/c'ing. not sure how much they cost though. i just would be awfull leary of those maxtors though. they don't have a very good rep w/the o/c'ers http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif

I considered going with an IBM drive, until I looked at the prices. They are good drives, but couldn't find one with the specs I was looking for that was in stock. I have an IBM drive in another machine that I can always swap if I have problems with the Maxtor.
