cd-rom tray won't close. was working fine, ejected disk, then it wouldn't close. Any ideas. System is only one month old.

May try easily pushing the CDROM tray back in. See if there is a hole in the front of your CDROM by the eject button, will be an emergency release button you can hit with a paper clip.

Thanks. Didn't work. Can't push tray back inside, because there is a metal holder (I am guessing that's what holds cd's in place) that moves upward when I push on tray. Tried the paper clip but this holder inside blocks the tray from returning into it's position.
If the system is only a month old, take it back and have the CD rom drive replaced.

Thanks again. That's what I will have to do. Was hoping to fix it, before traveling 150 miles to return it, but no such luck.
