By Eric Grevstad

You've heard of plug and play, but unplugged and play? That's what Source R&D offers with the Warpia Easy Dock ($150), a Wireless USB docking station for notebook, netbook, and MacBook users.

The dock consists of a USB dongle that plugs into a laptop and a pre-paired receiver with DVI (monitor), two USB (mouse and keyboard), and 3.5mm audio (speakers) ports. A monitor connected to the receiver (a DVI to VGA adapter is provided) wirelessly shows video from the notebook at up to 1,400 by 1,050 resolution. The Easy Dock works with Windows XP, Vista, 7, and Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard.
